Jeff Brown has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering for Cohort Energy Company. This promotion takes effect immediately and Mr. Brown will be relocating from his current office in Kilgore, TX to corporate headquarters located in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Brown's new responsibilities will include overseeing all of Cohort Energy Company's engineering and operations.

Mr. Brown began his career with J-W Operating Company in 1984 as a Pumper. Since that time, he has been employed in the ARK-LA-TX and Gulf Coast in various positions with responsibilities ranging across nearly all of J-W Operating Company's businesses. Since 2001, Mr. Brown has been the District Exploration and Production Manager for the ARK-LA-TX District with responsibility for the management of all exploration and production activities in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.
Mr. Brown graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 1983.
