Effective January 4, 2010 - J-W Measurement Company is pleased to announce that it has opened its second office in the Marcellus Shale. This office is strategically located south of Pittsburgh, PA on several acres of developed land. The 16,000 square foot facility will office some of J-W Measurement Company's sales and management personnel, will provide a location for light assembly and staging work and will become the center of Marcellus operations for the business unit.
"We have a strong commitment to the Marcellus Shale, the state of Pennsylvania and to its citizens. We are hopeful that our growth will be of benefit to our current and future customers. Currently, we have approximately fourteen employees located in the Marcellus Shale area and based on current projections are expecting to add over 100 employees to the area over the next three to five years. Through our growth, we expect to continue to hire qualified personnel who are local to the area so they can benefit from this historic gas play." commented Gene Gradick, Jr. National Sales Manager for J-W Measurement Company.
The new office is located at 586 Plum Run Road Canonsburg, PA 15317. There will be an open house scheduled in the Spring 2010. All friends of J-W Measurement Company are invited to attend.
