Gene C. Daley
J-W Operating Company is pleased to announce that Gene C. Daley has joined J-W Operating Company as President of Cohort Energy Company. Mr. Daley will work in the corporate office in Addison, TX and replaces Paul Westerman who was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Daley has a breadth of knowledge and experience gained during the past 33 years in the Oil and Gas Industry. Mr. Daley began his career with Texaco Inc. as a geologist and later founded Carter Resources Inc. which was sold to Intercoast Energy Company and then to KCS Medallion Resources. Mr. Daley held many positions during this period including Vice President and General Manager Oil and Gas, Senior Vice President of Exploration and Development, Senior Vice President of Production, and President. For the past 3 years Mr. Daley has been providing the oil and gas industry with consulting services including project management, property and opportunity evaluations, technical litigation support, expert witness testimony and mediation.

Mr. Daley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1972. He is also a member of many professional associations such as the Oklahoma Independent Producers Association, AAPG, and the International Society of Energy Advocates.
